What are the side effects of Lexapro (Escitalopram) 10 mg?

- Cramps and muscle weakness, and very stiff muscles
- Fainting, seizures
- Black tarry stools
- Loss of co-ordination
- Memory problems
- Shallow breathing
- High fever

Which drugs react adversely with Lexapro (Escitalopram)?
Always inform your doctor about every pharmaceutical, herbal, homeopathic or any other supplement you use before starting treatment with Lexapro (Escitalopram).
Do not use Lexapro (Escitalopram) 10 mg if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Never use Lexapro (Escitalopram) if you are on a course of treatment with any MAO Inhibitor. There should be a gap of at least 14 days between switching from treatment with an MAO Inhibitor, to treatment with Lexapro (Escitalopram) 10 mg.
Do not use Lexapro (Escitalopram) if you are using other anti psychotic medicines like Pimozide or Citalopram.
Please inform your doctor if you are using any over the counter products like NSAID pain relievers like Aspirin, Motril, Ibuprofen, Advil, etc.
Let your physician know if you are using Warfarin or any other blood thinner.
It is extremely important to inform your doctor if you are suing any other SSRIs or SNRIs.
Diuretics may react adversely with generic Lexapro (Escitalopram).
Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines that may promote drowsiness, such as AntiHistamines, sleep aids, muscle relaxers, narcotic pain relievers, or even cough and pain medication that may contain ingredients that promote drowsiness.
Please let your doctor know if you use alcohol or any street drugs as these can react very severely with Lexapro (Escitalopram). It is necessary to discuss all products you are currently using before starting treatment with Lexapro 10mg.
Your doctor may want to adjust your dosage or timing to suit. He may want you to stop some medication, or change one.
